On the 26th of September, The World Women Organization organised a felicitation programme to celebrate our Indian Paralympians’ exceptional performance at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Paralympic at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. For the felicitation of the Indian Paralympians, The World Women Organization invited Hon’ble Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Ramdas Athawale Ji, ex Member of Parliament, Dr. Udit Raj and Indian Revenue Services officer and Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for 2021 panel year, Ms. Seema Raj as chief guests for the event.
The centre of attention were our 17 Indian Paralympic stars such as Kashish Lakra, the youngest Indian athlete to compete in Paralympics; Devender Jhajharia who bagged a silver medal in javelin throw; Rebecca Francis, the 10m air pistol shooter; Praveen Kumar, high jumper and many of our esteemed Paralympians who bestowed our day with their presence. We gifted our Paralympians with a kit, especially convened with all our ‘Made in India’ computer accessories and peripherals as a small goodwill gesture from the ProDot family.
ProDot was the official and trusted IT partner for the programme, organised by the World Women Organisation. Having a nationwide presence with more than 1000 distributor networks and employing over a thousand Indians, promoting ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ has been our primary objective.
